SPRING 2025 | College Yoga Courses
Testimonials
I like how easy it was to do yoga at home. I really enjoyed the immense amount of poses and breathing exercises, with a ton of different forms. I also enjoyed replies from fellow students and learning from them.
I think the biggest takeaway for me was learning about the chakras, and checking in with your body from head-to-toe, and notice where you are carrying physical and emotional pain. I learned that stress is not permanent or untreatable.
What I love most about this class is pranayama. Learning how to breathe, and take a moment to appreciate myself, and what life has to offer me, is the biggest takeaway from practicing online yoga! Anthony G.
“The best thing I learned in yoga is to respect myself. Professor Quijano always reminded us to pay attention to if we were being lazy, overambitious, or just right. She never pressured me to push my body to do something it wasn’t able to.”
I enjoy our teacher, Vera Quijano, and her teaching style. I think that for this course being online, she is still very hands-on, and has created a progressive learning environment.
I love everything about this online class! I wish we were altogether in a classroom, but it’s also a good reminder for me to practice on my own time and to set my mind to it. I enjoy her videos. I like that there are so many options and different levels.
I have only words of appreciation for Professor Quijano and her yoga class. I loved the visual practices, the beautiful settings she used as background, and her positive feedback and understanding. Everything was inspiring and motivational.
I like how this online class pushes me to learn more about the dynamics of the body. Yoga helps build strength, flexibility and balance in a person. Even after 6 weeks of practice and consistency, I feel more accomplished as I feel success in all of those three areas.
